The Next Chapter Has Begun

Okay, so I’ve been a bit busy the last year. But now I’m back.

An update: I’ve left Al Jazeera America and am now a free agent. And, so far, I like my independence.

Not that I’ve been idle. I’ve already had a freelance piece online at National Geographic. And I’m working for another publication on two more pieces that will land later this spring. I’m open to other commissions so, if you have any leads, let me know.

These are early days and I’m still pondering what else I want to do “when I grow up.” One thing I know: it will involve writing — I’ve been away too long from that. Maybe it will be full-time. Maybe it won’t.  And maybe it’ll include something I’ve never done before (suggestion box now open, folks). I’m fortunate to have options.

So, watch this space and keep in touch!
